Dental Course Types and Format
GIIFTED offers an extensive range of dental programmes covering the all the dental specialities and latest technologies, which have been designed to provide dental practitioners with the opportunity to pursue flexible post graduate training and development best suited to their, geographic locations, learning needs and personal circumstances.
Dental Course Prospectus
Dental Foundation Courses – are intensive dental training episodes, run for between two to five days designed to introduce students to post graduate teaching at a higher level, highlighting the exciting opportunities that exist for lifelong learning and professional development.
Dental Part Time Year Courses – less intensive dental training offering extended learning intervals, the teaching being delivered over one to two days each month spread throughout the year. This type of course permits time for reflection and consolidation of learning. These dental courses offer the opportunity of continuing onto part time degree programmes offered by the University of Warwick (UK)
Short Duration Dental Courses – full time attendance, modular in structure each module normally lasting a month, each dental course comprising of three modules. The modules may be taken individually or as a completed three module programme. Individual modules must be taken sequentially to complete the learning pathway. Short duration programmes offer a complete dental training package in a number of dental specialities and topics.
Mentored Dental Clinical Training Programmes.
It is also possible to receive hands on dental training in practical workshops and dental clinical training on actual patients.
